Good Neighbour Bylaw and the Summer Months

We would like to remind everyone that the Park will soon be operating on a summer schedule. This means that effective June 23 through September 30, beaches, wharves and park areas, including paid parking lots, will be open from 7 am to 11 pm. It is prohibited for any person to use closed public areas, including beaches, docks, parks and parking lots. (GNB 1041-13 section 8.4)

Please be aware that the bylaw also regulates littering, street nuisances, dog control and licensing, property maintenance, burning conditions, restrictions and fire bans as well as tree maintenance and replacement. The intent of the bylaw is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the Park by all. For information and convenience you can find the complete bylaw on this webpage.

If you wish to report a bylaw violation, contact Park Patrol at (604) 858-5298. *The mission of Park Patrol is to provide professional and efficient bylaw enforcement service for the residents of Cultus Lake, as well as all visitors to the Park.  To enforce the bylaws of Cultus Lake and in doing so ensure the safety and enjoyment for all people at Cultus Lake.  To be visible and approachable to all members of the public and to remain courteous and professional at all times.*

For all criminal matters, including open alcohol or drunkeness, contact the RCMP first. For non-emergencies call the Chilliwack detachment at (604) 792-4611 or call 911 for all police, fire and ambulance emergencies.

Have a safe and fun-filled summer!  Thank you.
