The Cultus Lake Water Sports Dugout Canoe Races are celebrating their 60th Anniversary. More than 20 canoe clubs from the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island & Western Washington will participate this year. This high quality traditional event provides exciting competition, a drug and alcohol free environment and focuses on teaching young people traditional values. In the spirit of reconciliation this event shares indigenous culture, food, entertainment from local artists, and is FREE and open to the public. The BC Battle of the Wake is the most northwestern wake surf event on the continent.
