The Cultus Lake Park Board will hold a public input meeting on Foreshore Buoys on:
Date: Wednesday, August 23, 2017
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Where: Cultus Lake Community Hall, 4220 Columbia Valley Highway
Free Parking in Lot A from 6:30pm to 9:30 pm
The purpose of this public input meeting is to open a dialogue with the residents, the buoy holders and people on the wait list, on possible solutions to the challenges we are facing with the foreshore buoys. We know that a strong, engaged community is crucial for the ongoing success and management of Cultus Lake, and the Park Board and staff hope that you will attend this meeting to provide us with your input. We are asking for your ideas and feedback on how the foreshore buoys can be reorganized to make mooring boats and boating a safer, more efficient, and pleasant experience.
Our goal is to discuss the situation and potential solutions in a mutually respectful, collaborative and transparent manner. By working together, we know that we can identify the best options for reorganizing the foreshore area, with the least amount of disruption to the community.
If you are unable to attend and wish to share your views please email your comments or ideas to email@example.com by noon on Friday, September 1, 2017.
The management of our foreshore is an important element of our community and we want you – the residents of Cultus Lake – to take an active role in identifying how the Park Board addresses the challenges we all face with the current foreshore buoy situation.
