Each week – Monday to Thursday (excluding holiday Mondays) – 10 GREEN rocks marked with “www.cultuslake.bc.ca” are hidden around Cultus Lake Park. Find one of the GREEN rocks, turn it in to the Park Office during office hours Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and you will get a small prize (that will make a young child very happy). You will also be entered to win the GRAND PRIZE for that month.

The GREEN rocks are hidden in Cultus Lake Park Main Beach area on Monday mornings, and they are picked up on Thursday evenings. This is a WEEKDAY-ONLY contest. You won’t be able to find a green rock on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays – you have to come out during the week.

It’s only one entry per week per family. If you find more than one GREEN rock, please leave it in place for someone else to find!

Good luck to everyone this month!

New Location for Summer Farmers’ Market at Cultus Lake Park

The 2019 Summer Farmers’ Market at Cultus Lake Park has a new location. It will be held at the Community Barn in the Cultus Lake Park Plaza (beside Frosty’s). This popular weekly event runs each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from June 29 to August 31, 2019.

The Summer Farmers’ Market offers visitors a range of locally sourced items to choose from – including fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods, craft beer, small batch whiskey and vodka, meats, cheeses, herbs, flowers, handmade soaps, essential oils, jewellery and much more. Each week will bring some regular (and favourite) vendors – and a few new ones to try! Live music at the market makes the experience even better. (Dancing is encouraged!)

Said Joe Lamb, Cultus Lake Park Board Chair: “The new location for the Summer Farmers’ Market makes it easier to check it out and to pick up some items for a picnic on the beach or for dinner. The Plaza offers free parking for up to two hours – just enter your license plate into the meter.” He added: “Each week, the market is a bit different which encourages people to come often. The market is yet another reason that Cultus Lake Park is such a popular place for both locals and visitors.”

Cultus Lake Golf Club

There’s nothing like a round of golf on a beautiful sunny day to make a person feel on top of the world. In fact, for many golfers at Cultus Lake Golf Club, good weather is “nice to have” – but not necessary. They are just happy to be out playing at the 18-hole, 4000-yard, par 63 executive course.
