FINANCE

The Finance Department maintains the financial health of Cultus Lake Park. The Department is responsible for the following:
- Budget preparation and analysis
- Legislated reporting
- Asset accounting
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Quarterly reports and statements of financial information
- Leaseholder tax calculation and collection (residential and commercial)
- Revenue collection (Sunnyside Campground, parking, residential leases, commercial leases, administrative fees)

At the Cultus Lake Park Board Townhall Meeting on January 31, 2024, the Board discussed the recent comparison conducted by staff regarding residential property tax, fees and charges borne by Cultus Lake Park residents in comparison to residents in Area H and comparable municipalities. A capital project is an initiative that helps maintain or improve a park asset, most often in the area of infrastructure. It can include construction, expansion, renovation or replacement projects that are required for the community to run effectively, efficiently, safely and/or to protect the environment.
